...I can't tell you how much I loved Dylan's post yesterday. LOVED it. You all did too apparently, because the blog traffic spiked like crazy. So either I'm boring you 99% of the time or Dyl is this week's #favoritetwin.

...or she should start her own blog called Dauntless Dyl?

...I've read about 10 books in the past 6 weeks. It's replaced the time I would normally spend watching TV or Netflix & it's been life changing. Especially when it comes to sleep. Try it!

...22 Jump Street was really funny. To be fair, Jonah Hill could read a cereal box & I'd think it was the most hilarious thing in the world, but still...the movie's worth seeing.

...okay, one link. Mary J. makes this song so much better. She continues to prove why I'm okay with having a weird unexplainable obsession with her.

...finally...I'm in Chicago for the weekend! A fun work gig got me here, but I'm spending an extra day just for me. Can't wait to see some friends & eat some donuts. Donuts have been on my mind since National Donut Day a few weeks ago because, um, I DIDN'T EAT A DONUT. So I'm hitting up one of my gf favorite spots. It's honestly the only place on my must-do list.

For now, I'm working & enjoying the view from my room.  I'll be back next week with more photos from this fine city.

Hi readers! How was your week? Mine flew by. Today was the start of the world's busiest three months so I'm just gearing up for a non-stop summer. Hope you had a good one.

Here are some favorites of the week...

Kind of funny/weird: guys with Zooey Deschanel's eyes.

I like both of these girls, so I enjoyed this interview. It's refreshing to see two actresses in complete support of one another, rather than the usual cattiness that seems to go on. {I'm especially a big Brie Larson fan. You should all watch Short Term 12...it's on Netflix.}

A sleepy Great Dane puppy. I mean, come on. Best name & best puppy. I want him.

Funny yearbook quotes of 2014.  What was your quote?  Mine is so embarrassing. I can't remember if this was for middle or high school, but it was: "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly." Judging myself so you don't have to.

So my twin sister & I were not these people.

Orange is the New Black is back! And Netflix did some genius cross-promotion with this intro. I considered starting it last night {since I was a lucky West Coaster who got access at 9pm}, but then I fell asleep. #fail. So let the binge-watching commence...tonight!

How was everyone's short week? Mine was lovely but cold! I miss the warm weather we had a few weeks ago. Work is about to pick up though, so I savored the slower, cozier days :) :)

I spent last weekend in Newport Beach & have lots of pictures to share. Hopefully I'll have something up on Monday, but below is a sneak peek of one of my favorite parts.

The Normal Heart was one of the most heart-wrenching films I've seen in quite some time. Not only was the acting superb, but the authenticity of AIDs and its affect during those years was just devastating. If you have HBO, please watch. You won't regret it.

I can't end a post without some Coldplay, right? This song "O" is my new favorite. I MAY have gone to Guitar Center last weekend to "look at keyboards to buy", but actually just really wanted to sit down & play this song. Ha.

I went to my first Giants game on Tuesday! It was 85 every day in San Francisco this week, which NEVER happens, so I was totally eating it up. You know what else I ate up? The most amazing gluten-free hot dog & bun at the game. MLB stadiums are always thinking of us celiacs & I am so grateful :)

I just got back from a 24 hour work trip to LA. The studio we were at was---to my surprise---across the street from my college's new LA campus. I missed studying there by two semesters, so I was thrilled to finally see it in person! It is quite a spectacle on Sunset Blvd.

I had one of those "come to Jesus" moments as I walked up to it. I just passed the one year anniversary of my final class in college, & here I was standing in front of the very school...working for my dream agency...on a shoot!  Work is tough some days & living far from home & family gets old, but I'm so fortunate to be in the place where I am right now. I'm soaking up every moment.
