Last spring I was flipping through Living magazine & came upon a beautiful spread about a farm. {Click here to see the profile on Martha's website—it's fantastic.} Wyebrook Farm is a family-run, eco-friendly farm with a gorgeous BYOB restaurant & market, specializing in sustainable agriculture & delectable food. They also host cooking classes, live music, & have rental spaces for weddings & private events.
Before I even read a word, I had an inkling that it was in my home state of Pennsylvania...& it turns out I was right! Honey Brook, PA is about 45 minutes from my parent's house—the photos just felt like home.
Since I'm out in SF, Dylan & I sent my mom & stepdad a giftcard to celebrate the fact that all four of their kids graduated college & to try out the restaurant. They finally visited on a perfect day in September & declared it a new favorite. To this day, my mom swears they have the best burger she's ever eaten.
Umm...I love burgers. So I needed in on the action.
Fortunately my stepdad made reservations for us when I was home for Thanksgiving last week, so off we went. After our amazing lunch {the burger—even without the brioche bun—was un. real.}, we walked around the gorgeous property so I could snap some photos. I couldn't stop!
It was such a lovely afternoon. Wyebrook is something else. I can't wait to go back.
